KHPF Acquires the Historic Lou Della Crim House

The Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation is proud to announce that we are now the stewards of the Lou Della Crim House, a designated Texas Historical Landmark and one of Kilgore’s most significant architectural treasures.

This remarkable home stands as a testament to our city’s vibrant history and the legacy of the Crim family. We are currently in the early stages of a long-term restoration effort to preserve the home and ensure its story continues to be told for generations to come.

As we begin this exciting journey, we invite the Kilgore community to join us. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word, your involvement is vital to the success of this project. Together, we can return the Lou Della Crim House to its former glory and secure its place in Kilgore’s future.

Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved.
